Acute conditions are considered anything that has been bothersome within 1 day - 3 months.  Typically, they are fleeting.  Which means if not treated they will go away on their own with no intervention.

Homeopathy can help tremendously in acute illness as well as an acute injury.   It works as the catalyst that propels the body to heal itself.   Two similar diseases cannot reside within the body at the same time, the stronger will repel the weaker - hence the homeopathic term 'like cures like'.  

In most cases, homeopathy works much quicker than antibiotics and/or OTC medicine.  INTERESTING:  You can use homeopathy right alongside any medicine, neither interfere with the other.
